As part of your journey to gain that licence to freedom, you will be required to pass a theory test. This consists of 50 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. Both parts of this test must be passed at the same time. Until this test is passed, you won't be allowed to sit the practical part of the test.
For the multiple choice part, you must get at least 43 out of 50 to pass.
The hazard perception part consists of 14 video clips. 13 of these clips will have 1 developing hazard to spot and 1 clip will have 2. Each hazard is worth between 1 and 5 points, depending when you spot the hazard. If you don't spot it, then you will score 0 points! You must score at least 44 out of 75 to pass.
